Upminster Cricket Club were pleased to hold a Benefit match against a Essex CCC XI in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation

In a thrilling finish to the game John Curtis struck two from the final ball of the match, bowled by Upminster U9 captain Ross Taylor, to secure a tie, with Upminster finishing on 205-9, just one short of their revised target of 206 from 25 overs.
