Upminster have named a 13 man squad for their Benefit Match against an Essex CCC XI on Sunday 18th September.

Captain Alan Ison is joined in the squad by seven other 1st XI regulars, including Benefit Match stalwarts Billy Wright and James Evans.

Ollie White, who has scored over 1,000 runs for the club this season, will make his second appearance in the annual contest, while fellow 2nd teamers Sam Twine and Callum Berry will make their debuts. 4th XI captain Ian Munn is rewarded for his work in recent seasons with a place in the home side’s top order, and youngster Harry Bradford, who has been assisting with our junior training sessions during the last 12 months, will get his chance to impress with the ball. There are six debutants in total, with the game taking place for the first time since September 2019.

The T20 contest will begin at 2.45pm, with a number of ladies and junior events taking place from 9.30am.
