Variety of options available at Sunday's big game

A variety of catering options are available at this Sunday's Benefit Match against an Essex CCC XI at Upminster Park.

Our beer tent will be available from 12.00pm and a number of improvements have been made to ensure queue times are kept to a minimum at this year's game.  The tent will be serving draught lagers and ales, bottled beers and cider, wine and prosecco, selected spirits with mixers and a variety of soft drinks.  Prices for draught lagers and ales have once again been frozen from the 2023 event.  The Beer Tent will be based on the Corbets Tey Road side of the ground.

Opening slightly earlier in the day (11.00am) will be the Tea Tent, which will once again be looked after by our good friends from the 1st Upminster Scout Group.  Available from the tea tent will be hot and cold drinks, cakes, confectionery and other snacks.  Do please pay a visit to the tent to support the Scouts and also see what the group have planned for the coming months. The Tea Tent will be based on the Corbets Tey Road side of the ground.

We also welcome back the Slow Dough Pizza Company who are now well known to many members and friends of the club.  Slow Dough will be baking their superb pizzas and garlic breads from 12.00pm and there will be vegetarian options available throughout the day.  Slow Dough will be based at the top corner of the ground, in front of the tennis courts.

Making their "debut" at the Benefit Match will be DB Shack.  Based in Basildon, the awarding Shack will be serving burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian options during the game, with food being available from just after 12.00pm.  The Shack will be situated at the top corner of the ground, in front of the tennis courts.

As always, we will have our regular ice cream van on site, and this will also be situated at the top end of the ground between the tennis courts and the Windmill End of the ground.

The Upminster Park Kiosk, situated behind the tennis courts towards Upminster Library will also be open throughout the day and serves a variety of hot and cold food and drink.

** We would ask all those attending the game to use the bins provided or take their litter with them at the end of the game. Upminster Cricket Club is proud of the great condition of Upminster Park and we would like to do all we can to ensure this is maintained.
