The indoor experience of Paul Middlemiss and James Aggio-Brewe saw the Panthers collect their first indoor win of the season defeating the Waratahs by 26 runs. Paul Middlemiss 25* was the backbone of the Panthers total of 93. He also took two catches and a stumping to finish an all-round good performance. Aggio-Brewe strangled the Waratahs in his spell to return with figures of 3-14. Harold Wood import Billy Mortimer made an impressive 29 for the Waratahs.

Alfie James sparkling 71 was the highlight of a tough opening game for the Havering Vikings. Regular captain Billy Wright was busy watching West Ham get a footballing lesson and step in captain Frankie Hazle forgot about the game altogether. Nicky Ison top scored for the Cobras with 49 with Roome and Carter-Miller making 20’s in support.
